“Leave” Me Be

I’m most relaxed with

my head in the clouds.

I see animals, warriors, and

mythical creatures.

In the absence of clouds,

I observe leaves.

Lots of leaves, on spindly branches,

Grasping at blue,

Framing my view.

    Love it…sounds like me!

Thanks, Suzicate. I love leaves almost as much as clouds.

I feel that way right now. I’d rather look at the scenery than write this paper for my online class. ugh.

Assigned writing is always more difficult for me. I think it’s just a state of mind I get in (and sometimes, the topic isn’t ‘fun’) Good luck getting your paper done, Patty!

Thanks, Widdershins. Writing with my head in the clouds (or leaves) is a good thing 🙂

    Sometimes saying “Leave Me Be”
Is the only way to be FREE 😉

    Here’s to clouds and leaves . . . and Janna’s poet~trees!

Hehehe! “poet-trees” – very clever, Nancy 😆 Thanks for the laugh this evening!

    Keep looking up, Janna!

    • jannatwrites September 20, 2012 / 10:25 PM

I try to, Debbie…often! In fact, I got some cool cloud pics today (they are on my phone, though, since I didn’t have a ‘real’ camera).

When leaf led, clouds unclog the head?
You always have such thought provoking posts
    Nicely done

Just wonderful! This poem really ‘dances’ with the joy of daydreaming. I love the pun in the title too 🙂

    • jannatwrites September 20, 2012 / 10:39 PM

Thanks, GodGirl! I wondered if the pun in the title would illicit groans, but I couldn’t resist 🙂 I appreciate you stopping by to check out my post.

I like the ‘head in the clouds’ phrase. How nice it will be if e can be like that always. 🙂 ‘Luv the pun in the title.

I’m right there with you! Fall has me looking up at the sky and its clouds–it has a different feel than summer skies and clouds. And of course, all the leaves on trees that are changing colors as we speak. I’m gonna go crazy snapping pics of them–as I have already–because I am infatuated with fall leaves… 🙂

    • jannatwrites September 27, 2012 / 10:06 PM

I love the fall colors, but we don’t really get them here. I’d take tons of pictures, too. I hope you decide to share some of them on your blog.
