Peaceful

July 4, 2012

Still.

Body relaxed;

Worries set free.

Time to watch clouds

As they gather and conspire;

Story unfolds above me.

They disperse again.

Clear skies;

Blue.

    So peaceful watching clouds and sky…can you imagine the stories they could tell?

      Yeah, my excuse for being lazy (lounging in the chair) was that I was working (on this blog post.) Flimsy excuse, I know :)

    I am so slow – I didn’t notice the difference in the pictures until I really looked and saw the clouds. Happy 4th.

      Hey, at least you did notice it. The pictures are very similar, though. I hope you have a happy 4th also, Patty. Thanks for dropping by :)

    Ahhh cloud watching. I like to watch for ones that look like something…a person or thing! Nice poem!

      I do too, Tessa. I used to spend a lot of time searching for pictures in the cloud as a kid. As an adult, I don’t have nearly enough time for it. I’m glad you stopped by!

    I love the pictures of the summer time, indeed peaceful and serene.

    I love fair weather clouds!

      Me too, Debbie! There was a nice breeze this day, so the coulds moved fairly quickly. Have a happy 4th :)

    Looks like a couple of cloud dragons had a tiff, then sorted it out!

    Lovely poem!

      I thought they kind of looked like dragons, too! Glad I’m not the only one to see that, Widdershins :)

    They are the relaxing photos. A sensation of peace flutters in the words.
    Wonderful.

    Glad you had/made time to sit and watch the clouds go by.

    “What is this life if full of care, we have no time to sit and stare?” asks William Henry Davies in his poem Leisure.

    I love taking pictures of the sky and clouds. Makes me appreciate Mother Nature and her ways with colors. So nice for you to take some time to look up!

      I don’t get to watch clouds often, but on a breezy day, it can be quite entertaining. Mother Nature has some crazy talent :)

    The trees are reaching for those conspiring clouds. Zeus,Athena and posse are probably the instigators.

      Well, I don’t know, Carl. But it was fun to watch because the clouds moved quickly that day!
